This newly purchased Eichler home, published in Atomic Ranch in 2012, required substantial remodeling and exterior work. Located on a steep slope, making for difficult access, the residence was dwarfed by neighboring buildings. AFLA’s low-budget landscaping approach, created privacy, usable terrace space, and visually extended interior space into the hillside with strokes of vegetation. A deck at the top of the hill allowed for city views across the property.
