OAKLAND HILLS, CA
In 1991, a rebuilt Mediterranean-style residence stood alone in its burnt out neighborhood after the Oakland Firestorm. Such stark contrast required a design vision to complement the client's artistic lifestyle as a painter with a desire for privacy. Featured in the ‘Secret Gardens of the East Bay’ tour, this garden’s interconnected and themed spaces, incorporate lush green textured vegetation, with pops of red Pelargoniums, 'cloud-like' grey leafed olive trees and yellow citrus fruit. Garden walls frame spectacular city views.
