GATEWAY school, CA AFLA donated this Landscape Design sample to the students and teacher of Gateway High School to engage them in basic steps of Landscape Design. The concept sampled a bare, non shaded school building located next to the main campus. AFLA hoped to initiate landscape related classroom discussions, fundraising and active involvement of the school community to improve their student’s environment. Labeled plants where chosen to educate about local wildlife and diversity by representing each students ethnic heritage with sample plants.
