A modernist painter’s house with its unique architecture was surrounded by a deteriorating and under-developed landscape. In constant collaboration with the client, AFLA designed a simple and highly usable space, with a floating main terrace and minimal vegetated response around a large central lawn. AFLA's proposed master plan included a sculpturally pronounced concrete bench and wall panel at the end of the lawn.
